Area Light is featuring another RSS Feed from www.ussoccer.com on the main Area Light Welcome page. As an international community, we hope to excite some interest in supporting you area's team and a friendly spirit of competition and entertainment here on Area Light.

Let's all celebrate the World Cup in 2010 together. You know who Anthony will be rooting for! U.S.A.! Why don't you join in the cheer for you fellow members from the United States. For our international friends, why don't you set up a national soccer team group for your country as we all gather to enjoy the show from Area Light.

I was just checking out this American Soccer News site that I have an RSS feed for. Very nice. I will have to do a more thorough look as a segment on Area Light Explorer.

By the way, I noticed they are hiring correspondents.

A SAD 'FIRST' FOR NEW YORK Noticed an article on the RSS feed. A couple of players from NY got suspended for performance enhancing drugs. Doesn't represent American Soccer well, but does imply a serious level of competition is being reached where performance is pushing player limits. Why do it though? What i'll have to overcome to play is far more impossible than I can stand to imagine. If I overcome that, I can't imagine the need to cheat. You can't beat pure fire, I don't care what you put in your system.
