Video: nascentdynamicsintrobeta
This video is about 20 minutes long, but worthwhile for any professional who is interested in learning more about my professional background. In particular, this video is a BETA draft for one of my business lines, Nascent Dynamics ( ) Professional Consulting. Rather than really promoting consulting right now, I'm interested in making the point Area Light is also intended to be a resource for professionals to network and market what they can do.
In fact, if you look into my Notes section here you should start to see the early formation of a modern service enterprise based on the Area Light Member Services concept. Perhaps we can set this community up to include job boards, outsourced project negotiations, contracted service providers, and eventually even direct employment. A review of my background and I think you will see I already have some useful hands-on experience in these areas and this is something I feel I can offer some leadership in for the benefit of the Area Light community.
Just like most grand ideas out there, this is far easier said than done. Still, I don't see many people bringing up the idea and this is something I want available, if even for just my own professional benefit. The difference in seeing this vision materialize sooner rather than later will necessarily derive from the professional contributions of our members. At a minimum, I would hope we could use this site as an opensource learning environment and reference to resources. Ideally, we're going to attract some very serious professionals here who recognize both the importance and opportunity to actually "demonstrate" what they can do here for Area Light.
My recommendation is to start the video and then pause it while you have some offline activity to enjoy for about 15 minutes- such as dinner or a show. By the time you return, it should be ready to play through without constantly buffering. Finally, this group will be integrated with other features I am employing in this community such as a prime time chat session that will be called, "The Loop".
