Let's get started!

1) First, let us personally welcome you to Area Light. We will contact new members usually within 24 hours with a request to become friends. We really want to be your friend. Please feel welcome to treat us as one, we'll return the favor!

2) While we wait for you to accept our invitation, we will post a greeting on your Comment Wall to let you know we are at your service and to invite you to our community discussion group Area Light Home while you get situated.

3) You are a featured member! We want to feature you automatically as soon as we notice you and you have a picture. We will also send you a personal e-mail to let you know we are happy to help you set up your page, forums, groups, photos, and videos and will feature you at least once more when you are ready.

4) When a new member is featured in your place, we will contact you to let you know and invite you to our CEO's featured forum, "First Impressions" where you can comment on your hopefully terrific experience so far.

5) We would like to know all about you and to encourage an environment of friendly sharing, interaction, and attention. Once you have commented on "First Impressions", you will be invited to join our featured group, "Coffee With The Oracle" where we are pleased to interview you in a discussion open to the community. You are welcome to start your own interview when you are ready. Each week, we will make an effort to contact another member for their opportunity to be our featured interview and make an event out of it.
