1) The limitation for them has been they need a black background and most children's characters use basically any other color.
2) Another limitation being that many animated or doll characters have color schemes that are too complex for LiteBrite with their primary color based plugs.
3) Finally, a third limitation is the grid format for drawing lends itself poorly to natural shapes and you cannot but help to create some form of geometric symmetrical shape when you illustrate a picture on that toy.
In other words, Oodles look like they were made for Lite Brite.
Best,
Anthony
I am eager to see everything you have been working so hard and enduringly on. I also noted your color selection looks like what my daughter might pull out of her crayon box. They aren't really the ones adults might expect kids to like. Great job!
Best,
Anthony
Glad to see you turning the corner on the Oodles! I am really looking forward to following your success.
I think I can remember what a craze Cabbage Patch Kids were, Teddy Bears and Teddy Ruckspin (I think), Tickle Me Elmo, and Beanie Babies were. May all that success come to you and more.
Oodles might be something worth presenting to the police organizations. When they go on domestic calls, they used to always have teddy bears. I think it would be better if they offered Oodles, because the toys are accompanied with content that supports children who have gone through traumatic domestic violence and abuse situations, right? Would make for good curriculum, by police officers visiting schools, or even schools who want to incorporate something like that into their own curriculums.
Also, look into (RED) ...google that and include parenthesis. I think there might be significant potential for the Oodles in charity fundraising specific to Africa etc. You are going to make it one way or another. I am very happy for you.
Best,
Anthony
Hope and pray all is well....love the new picture of you. How's the dolls coming along?
Best,
Anthony
I know you have been very busy materializing your vision. I've seen you all over the internet. I think that is good for you and I am fine giving you space. However, I always enjoy our encounters. Please at least keep us in the loop on your successes when they happen.
Best,
Anthony
It has been quite awhile since we last communicated. I am still deeply involved in my work, and so are you, I see. I miss our chats, but I realize that our lives get in the way of our fun and friendships. (smile) I hope you are well and happy, as I am. I am working on my business plan now, although I have had my dolls manufactured and the first books edited and illustrated. Kinda of doing things in an odd way, but that's okay, as long as I get it done. Right? Anyway, please stay in touch, and I hope we get the chance to chat again soon. Take care and God bless, Paris
It has been a while since I left a comment, but I still hold this site in my heart. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season with many blessings. I will ask Santa to bring all of you your hearts' desires. Take care and God bless. Paris.
