I was impressed with your work once again, and decided to wait a while before responding.
On parting with that project, I hope you will still discuss your views with me on occassion as we have.
I thought the Art Network Directory was a terrific example of your advanced social networking expertise. If I do say so myself, Area Light was established as a catch all reception lobby for my own principle projects. So I appreciated that function as you had designed in the site. You are, of course, welcome to offer Area Light as an option to that community to continue. I am sure you have already deleted it, but I have accepted a transfer before for one sight I could not stand to see deleted. There are possibilities for me too as establishing a more intelligent search system for Ning networks is something I believe I may be suitable for.
So I was impressed with the notion of creating a directory as a service to members as well as an influence of direction on to where people need to be. For me, since I was studying both you and the networks you operate at the same time, I think it was also a source of interest for me to see how you designed the activity into a minimal definition; the network directory as it was approapriately titled, was to be at the least an index. I hadn't realized how the aspect of recent news appealed to art networkers, and how the directory was serving that.
Overall, I admire you for dropping it. I also thought it was something special, that as someone who advocates this sort of philosophy we are all part of Ning and thus already on a common network, that you would be one to do something about it. The experience you have gained no doubt has some fascinating insights. Anyways, where something can be obsoleted so easily in favor of an emerging improvement, then it is the network creator's intimacy with modern technology and immediacy in response that serves those members best.
So I am stoked to have you here on Area Light. Feel free to take up some segments on whatever you have on mind. It is always interesting to me.
Best, Anthony
Neat Twitter Widget.
That is a terrific recommendation. We are going to put special attention to the matter starting today with our Friday Spark! update.
Thank you for all you do.

You were featured on our Members Page as a courtesy we extend to each new member upon joining. Our intention is to make a point of welcoming each guest. However, we have only recently updated our welcome message to include notification of being featured and the intention therein. To follow through on this courtesy, we have also recently started informing members when they are removed from the Featured Member list. We will adjust our wording to make it clear we are merely suggesting an opportunity to meet a new member.
As usual, your insights into social networking on Ning are invaluable to us and help make this an online social network of choice. It truly was our pleasure to feature you in particular and we will be happy to feature you or your forums, events, groups, etc, at your request.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or confusion. Area Light Member Services is still in a BETA phase of development. The concept may be portable as a service to other network creators someday when finally developed to standard. However, we wish to be impressive even to the best managed networks such as Art Auction Network. So please do not hesitate to share other thoughts or suggestions you have about our services. We appreciate your expertise and might make our services available to your network at no charge if ever desired.
